MUL-A Series

In the East, 'this absolute state' where the boundaries between the world and me have disappeared

is called "Mul-A(物我)."

But Before this happens., There is only one thing that is necessary.

It's "Mua".

In interpretation, "absence of my existence"

This is a sublime belief that the boundaries of perception that I believed to be me disappear and finally

can become the world itself.

So in my work, as you can see, all the information that makes up myself is scattered and distanced,

looking for an individual's independent identity.

But the energy that aspires to each other from the bottom of our hearts with greater force than gravity

from the earth makes us go back to each other with all our might, like coincidence or destiny.

Actually, the reason is simply

'I'm fundamentally also ultimately you,'

and that's the only sentence that explains the code I designed for this exhibition in Frieze Seoul & New York(2023 & 2024).
